In a perfectly fair world, Patti Larkin would be more popular than Britney Spears. Happily the world has been more than fair to us Southern Utahns--truly we have been privileged to have had this most gifted songstress grace our local stages on two occasions. For those of you who've enjoyed these performances I can say only this, 'set aside everything else in your life until you own this CD. It's so very, very good.

I loved her last album Perishable Fruit like one loves the family dog. It was the soundtrack to a great part of my life. Thus, as I chewed the wrapper off of Patti's newest CD, I was fully braced for the disappointment that follow-up records generally prove to be. I'm so very delighted to report that Patty has outdone herself here in a huge way. Regrooving The Dream is a muscular and grand piece of work. Every song kicks ass. Pray with me that this album will bring Patty the recognition and audience she is long overdue.
