I think Pimpadelic named this album appropriately. They are said to be the most hated band in Texas, this might very well be true. Since this band is pretty obscure I'll give you some background. Pimpadelic is from Dallas Texas, They are kind of a Rap-metal outfit as raunchy and raucus as Luke Skywalker and the 2 Live Crew. With a Lead Singer who calls himself MC Easy Jesus it's not hard to tell that these guys are out to shock and offend.

In spite of all the non-musical distractions and explicit themes, Southern Devils is reasonably good record. "Tits would be alright" Pimpadelic's ode to trying to get women to flash at concerts, is one of the bands trademark anthems. It usually works and the band loves it. Even though the title may throw you this is a pretty well put together track. "Out for 1 Thing" is another raunch-filled speed-metal rap song but it has a great beat and clever guitar and scratching work on the track. "Vegas" is a totally different kind of track a slower more Kid Rock sound on this song - it's arrangement and thoughtful lyrics easily make it the best song on the album.

Pimpadelic is a damn talented band and I hope they can get the big break they need. MC Easy Jesus is nephew of Country outlaw David Allen Coe, so look for a lot of references to him. Pimpadelic is a pretty graphic band so you can handle the raunchy and explicit lyrics these guys just might surprise you. They are great musicians, having the time of their lives and if you don't like them you can go to hell.
