I may not agree with everything that Bush stands for or does with his power, but I would much rather have a President who's trying to take out those angry decapitating bastards than letting them run rampant in the streets. Sure war sucks and is cruel but I sure as hell do not want my children's school being bombed, the Olympics threatened, and basically my
beloved country being at the mercy of a bunch of Jihad-scented turds. Even so it's an issue that divides people - just look at everybody jumping on the "I hate Bush" bandwagon.

John Kerry says that he is going to fight a more sensitive war on terror. What is he going to do - put grenades in lovely fruit baskets? Whatever here's the CD review.

Figuring that Fat Wreck Chords put this out I expected standard punk bands like NOFX, Bad Religion and Lagwagon to be on the compilation. They were, along with a few other shocking bands that made this CD feel like an edition of "Now that's what I call Music." I was intrigued that No Doubt, Foo Fighters, Yellowcard, and even the likes of Green Day were on the comp. Finally the music industry is uniting and using the power and influence of "punk rock" to do something besides dance around with signs and rant about things that no politician will ever hear. Hopefully with some better known bands on the comp more people will take notice.

The comp is a Tour de Force of musical diversity and anti-war and Bush propaganda. The Foo Fighters' song sounds like they went back to their roots and recorded "Gas Chamber" in a kitchen with a four-track recorder. It is good to see Hot Water Music back with something new. Old school bands Operation Ivy and Jawbreaker contribute nicely, as do The Lawrence Arms and Sleater-Kinney and No Use for a Name give their older song "Fields of Agony" an acoustic touch.

There are twenty-eight songs on this comp, most of which are new, unreleased, or extremely rare. It is worth your eight dollars. It even comes with a free DVD with music videos from Flogging Molly, Alkaline Trio, NOFX, Thought Riot and 7,000 more reasons to hate Bush. The best part of the idea behind this comp is the promotion of Punk Voter.com. The site is for the encouragement of young people to vote for something better than what they presently see in the White House. If you're so inclined go buy this CD, vote and join the revolution instead just talking about it.

Hi Everyone. As Tyson states, there are some terrific tunes on this comp. What he didn't mention was the bonus DVD features a hilarious introduction by the one and only George Bush himself. This is one of the most mesemerizing Presidential speeches I've ever been witness to. This collection is worth owning for the DVD alone.

As for Bush Blow's pretentious (and obvious) comment, he can stick it where the sun doesn't shine. I don't care if he's a Bush supporter or not. The fact remains, there are plenty of people out there with absolutely no political agenda, that will buy this CD because they're fans of the bands that are on it. Hell, I went to see Fahrenheit 9/11 and that doesn't necessarily mean I won't vote for Bush. Get a clue dude!

Personally I really don't give a shit about bush or kerry they both seem like dildos to me. I guess you could say that I'm in the middle of a republican and a democrat. I'm a republicrat - God help me.

You should also consider going to college so you can come a little closer to the correct spelling of lecture .

Wow! A rock and roll fan actually writes an intelligent summation of the ridiculous anti-Bush bandwaggoners in the music business. Well done. Take all the bands on this CD and perhaps you could muster one college degree if you were lucky. They probably can't spell CNN let alone watch it--but of course that doesn't stop them from espousing their political leanings by throwing their support to a candidate who can't articulate his own policies beyond pulpit pounding pandering.

And no, even as a die-hard, hardcore Springsteen fan I will NOT be supporting his current tour. He should stick to food banks, schools and other community fundraisers. I love the man but as soon as he talks about world affairs I cringe. Here's a guy who incessantly writes about freedom and hasn't stopped for a moment to ask what that freedom might mean to the million of Iraqis who are no longer at the mercy of the dropping-babies-from-helicopter tyranny of the Huessein regime.

So, good on you mate for seeing through the propaganda. Now about that sclockumentary called "Farenheit 9/11"....
