The Charlatans are for all intents and purposes, a thinking persons Oasis. Fortunately for them, though they write their own songs which in turn don't come out sounding like Beatles retreads and the lyrics don't resemble the poetry of an average five year old. That said, they've never had it easy, band-member deaths, zero recognition. Wonderland is their seventh studio album, it is great, just like the six before it and no one will notice.
