Fucking old school speed hardcore. Side stepping the shit trails of Asshole Parade and Acrid, Florida's The Holy Mountain are bloodthirsty crazy fuckers waiting too attack your ears with the ravaging, sloppy fuckitude of an angry hippopotamus. The vocals actually remind me of my friend Josh Smith's band The Beast From Within. Those guys were hard as shit so that's a compliment. I used to worship No Idea Records but then they started putting out a plethora of useless bullshit so I stayed clear for a few years. This is the sound of the hardcore side of No Idea. The other side being your basic bearded sounding indie rock, this side, however, is just pure loud gorilla screams.

The fusion of players that form The Holy Mountain are a great collection. You got members from Accordion Justice, The Blackout Terror, and Ponch from fucking Combat Wounded Veteran. This is really hard and really sloppy shit. Be warned that if your pussy gets offended easily then songs "Penis Jihad" and "Gorilla Teeth" are not for you. Yet if you drive a Trans Am and have at least one tattoo then this may be your cup of tequilla.
